I LOVE

... this mess.

Wait. I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, "Sh'yeah right. Uh huh. Whatever" But, today I really do love this mess. Any other day I despise it. It breaks me. It makes me weak. It may even make me so angry that I throw my hands up in the air.

Today though. Today I let go. Today I see the mess and I am thankful that there are two little kids in the house who love to build and create. Who are seekers because that one piece, that one piece that completes whatever project they are finishing, is down at the bottom of the pile and they are going to do whatever it takes to get it. And I think, man, this mess really is a living history of fun. Fun was had and that's all that mattered at the time.

Tomorrow though... well, tomorrow's a new day.

I have to give much thanks to Erin Goodman for offering this wonderful perspective of appreciating where you are now for today. This first day of The 10-day Family Re-Charge is already life-changing. I feel blessed.

great attitude - before long - those little mess makers wont want to do all their stuff in your home.... and they're so cute too
